James E. Reif, MD
The Physician Associates of MidMichigan Community Medical Foundation (PAMCMF) honors the life and lasting impact of Dr. James E. Reif, a beloved general surgeon who cared for the Midland community for more than three decades. Dr. Reif was instrumental in establishing what is now the region’s Breast Health Program and brought integrity, compassion, and a collaborative spirit to every aspect of his work.
Dr. Reif joined the PAMCMF Board of Directors with deep enthusiasm for advancing access to care and supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals. His passion for service and commitment to doing what is right continue to inspire our mission.
To carry forward his dedication to breast health and patient-centered care, PAMCMF has established the James E. Reif, MD Endowed Scholarship for Breast Health Fund (#01190), administered by the Midland Area Community Foundation. PAMCMF has made a foundational contribution to launch the fund, and additional gifts are welcomed to help grow this lasting tribute to Dr. Reif’s legacy.
