Sanford Strong, Jerome Township Fire & EMS, and Meridian Schools team up to Stop the Bleed

The Sanford Strong Foundation/Jerome Township Fire & EMS/Meridian Schools were awarded a grant to fund the Stop the Bleed program.  The Stop the Bleed program involves training lay responders on emergency lifesaving bleeding control techniques and placing special bleeding control equipment (STOP THE BLEED Stations) in strategic locations in businesses/schools/churches etc. The Jerome Township Fire and EMS will work with the Meridian Schools to train their employees and install STOP THE BLEED stations in various locations (front entrance, office, back entrance) at each school (Meridian Early Childhood Center, Meridian Elementary, Meridian Jr High, Meridian High School).
