PAMCMF announces a $10,000 grant to the Northeast Michigan Community Service Agency (NEMCSA). This funding will enable NEMCSA to purchase and install five Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) across key locations in their service area, including Alpena, Ossineke, Mio, Tawas, and Bay City.
Given the rural nature of northeast Michigan, many of NEMCSA’s facilities are far from medical services. The Health and Safety Committee carefully selected these sites to maximize safety for staff, volunteers, and community members. In addition to purchasing AEDs, the grant will cover staff training and the development of policies for proper use.
